We all know what toxic is... but what I believe: “toxic is to be cruel when you provoke to be...” and “femininity means qualities, behavior and attributes of a women...” Toxic femininity means a woman who behaves like a druggist, rapists, murderer etc...
Everyone around the world knows that toxic masculinity do exists but every man is not a toxic man.... however rarely we heard about toxic femininity... but yes , it does exists... But not every woman is a toxic woman....rarely but we do find toxic femininity...
For every action there is an equal or opposite reaction and in every aspects we do want gender equality so does it happen here...why not to accept the bitter truth...
Some women become toxic due to the jealousy, superiority, power, bullying, self defense, partiality to prove themselves...
In some industries women are required to be toxic, violent and aggressive.... same as the men just to survive.... I don’t think this can be framed as toxic femininity or masculinity...!!!
Sometimes they do have to be mean to secure themself but that’s not toxic femininity... rather I would tell its self defense technique...!!!
As per my belief, “I would say that toxic femininity is to seduce the person to do a wrong thing and then blame them for the result...
When it comes to workplace or about family and relatives, woman who is doing act of gossiping, spreading rumors, and talking passive and aggressive things to defame the other woman or man...that is more toxic than anything else in this world...
And the woman who is taking help of woman card just to blame and manipulate the man who is innocent should be labelled as toxic feminine.
I wouldn’t say that wearing short clothes and putting make up is wrong but after that seducing and doing things with your consent and then frame it as rape is toxic femininity...!!! Compromise yourself for the career and then blaming others is toxic...!!!
Become a victim and then use the strategy to blame others is toxic femininity.
I also agreed that Toxic femininity is the yin to toxic masculinity’s yang.
Teenage girls committing suicide due to the extreme verbal bullying, social exclusion and gossiping from another female in the same competition of life, is a sad reality and a clear indication of how toxic femininity can be.
We even can't accuse man of toxic masculinity while hypocritically avoiding the same buzz over toxic femininity.
Toxic behaviour should be exposed by the name of the action and not the gender, for both genders, so that there can be unison on the fight against it, rather than creating division by blaming only one gender while both are equally innocent and equally guilty.
The outcry against toxic masculinity, with no more than a whisper about toxic femininity is simply a case of the pot calling the kettle black.
Let's join hands together to put an end to toxic masculinity and femininity to establish Gender neutrality.
