|| 10 Years Action Campaign to strengthen SDGs||
On dated 27th April 2020, brother-sister duo Rishabh and Swapnil Shukla has launched a ten years digital campaign titled as 'Swapnil Saundarya Decade of Action for Sustainable Development Goals' which has been planned to highlight the SDGs-the world's to-do list to end poverty, reduce inequalities and tackle climate change through art activism, protest art and participatory communication and social action.
The campaign is running on social media sites like Instagram and tumblr and grabbing the attention of people across the nation.
Writer and Visual Artist Rishabh Shukla while highlighting about the campaign said,"The digital media is that wonderful that allows us to think beyond imagination and convert your dreams into realities. If there is one thing that vulnerability does
teach us is how to make best use of your creative resources and there is no limit on one's imagination. considering this fact and the current lockdown because of pandemic covid19 in mind, we have started this ten years digital campaign that aims at creating awareness, advocacy for the prioritization and implementation of sustainable development goals and be accountable for all our deeds. SS decade of action intends to create awareness about the 2030 agenda, empower and insire people around the nation to develop their capacities for addressing the SDGs.
Fashion Designer Swapnil Shukla said, "we are looking forward to a global butterfly effect of SDGs and urge people especially youth to join hands with us and donate their passion, commitment, positive energy and creativity rather than funds. We are also working on the concept called SDGs for better Fashion and planning to support people from vulnerable section to build thriving sustainable and resilient livelihoods and secure a reliable income to strengthen SDG8 that aims at promoting sustained, inclusive economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
We will also provide online livelihood courses (free of cost) and aware people of how to integrate SDGs in everyday life."
The brother-sister duo further explained that on 24th and 25th september 2019, heads of state and government gathered at the UN Headquarters in New York adopted the 2020-2030 decade as the Decade of Action for the implementation of SDGs. At the core of the decade is the need for action to tackle growing, inequalities empower women's and girls and address the climate change.
#SDG3 aspires to ensure health and well-being for all, including a bold commitment to end the epidemics of AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and other communicable diseases by 2030.
The Goal addresses all major health priorities, including reproductive, maternal and child health; communicable, non-communicable and environmental diseases; universal health coverage; and access for all to safe, effective, quality and affordable medicines and vaccines.

How to achieve #SDG6| Be #water wise|
Water and sanitation are the focus of SDG 6, for obvious reasons. Around the world, about 1 billion people lack access to potable water and more than 1.6 billion lack access to improved forms of #sanitation – even something as simple and basic as a pit latrine. The consequences for health and #livelihoods of poor quality water are significant, so addressing the shortfall in delivery is of paramount importance. But there are other reasons to focus on water. Two stand out. One is the risk to water supplies posed by over-consumption and pollution across the world. The second is the fact that water is a cross-cutting issue that impacts all SDGs: without access to adequate quantities and qualities of water, society comes to a standstill.
What might be done? Well, there are the obvious actions to be taken wherever you are:
Use Less Water|
Be frugal with your water use. Be frugal and conscious of the significant cost to your municipality that it costs to pump, treat, deliver, collect, treat again, and return water to the system. Being frugal is not so much about ‘saving water’ as it is about saving money and making ‘water for all’ an affordable option in your municipality.
Eat less Water|
A second action you might take is about what you eat. Most of the water you consume every day is embedded in your food. The water footprint of some imported foods is very large. The hundred mile diet is as much about water as it is about food.
Since gender inequality constitutes one of the history’s most persistent and widespread forms of injustice, eliminating it will call for one of history’s biggest movements for change. Women and girls continue to suffer discrimination and violence in every part of the world. • 🇮🇳 🌈🌐🎨🖌️🎥✒️📇🗞️📰
